Nutty Flapjacks

A very handy snack or breakfast on the go. These flapjacks are really easy to make and keep for about 3-4 days if covered in an airtight container. Very healthy, tasty and kids love them.


  • 2 mugs of oats
  • 1 tsp ginger powder
  • 1/2 tsp of turmeric
  • 2 tablespoons of organic unsalted butter
  • 4-6 tablespoons of coconut butter
  • 7 dates
  • 4 figs
  • 8 brazil nuts
  • 3 tablespoons of pepita/sunflower mix
  • 3 tablespoons of maple syrup
  • pinch of himalayan salt


Preheat oven 180

Blend all ingredients (until it sticks together – if mixture is too dry add more coconut oil)

Put into baking tray

Smooth mixture with a spatula & make sure its compacted down

Place in oven

Bake for 20-30mins or until golden brown

remove from oven

allow to cool

Cut into squares
